I see a lot of assumptions based on lack of information here. It’s Highly unlikely that Mangione was alone actor. Beyond that, we are all God. The Creator is indistinguishable from the Creation. It is only psychosis if you believe that you alone are God.
I find myself trying to make sense of Luigi’s actions sometimes: is he just crazy? what kind of rabbit hole was he into? I do see a young man, over-educated, angry and refusing to be programmed anymore, but falling for some other program anyways.
Immature warrior? maybe, a type of lone hero "saving" all of us "NPC's" (see Gurwinder's post) from the abuse numbness of the capitalistic jail we are in by embodying a nihilistic joker and sending a message.
A message to the people: "all your struggles stem from the class-war, it's time to eat the rich"
A message to the billionaires: "you're next, be fucking scared"
His actions have already timestamped a narrative change -- we just don't know which way this narrative will go until his image has been digested by the culture.
