Hello friends.
Starting this Substack has been a bit of an experiment with a new platform. I haven’t seen much engagement with the weekly posts so I’m going to pause for now. It takes some effort and time to curate and post every week and I just haven’t gotten the kind of response that would justify continuing.
Thank you to the few of you who have opted in to a paid subscription. I appreciate your show of support! You won’t be charged unless I decide to re-start posting weekly.
Patreon has recently announced that they will be launching some new features that will enable free subscribers, which would make a separate Substack account redundant for me. The little community over at the Howl in the Wilderness Patreon is steadily growing, so I’d like to focus my energies over there for the time being.
If you’d like to stay connected to my work, I invite you to follow my Instagram account for Vale-related content: http://instagram.com/brianjames.soulwork
If you’d like to support my work financially, you could become a Patreon member for as little as $2 a month. There are some great perks to joining the pack, including access to early release of full podcast episodes and some sweet swag!

Hi Brian, I wasnt aware of substack at all, nor of the possibility of commenting/communication of it. Also: I guess I'm still inscribed to Patreon, right? It is a bit too complex, I just like to listen to some of your podcasts. The 'platforms' and loggin in doesnt work for me. I am doing an entire Tao training week now with the Sifu that I suggested to do an interview with to you. It is amazing material. But I didnt know you only wanted to do podcasts with teachers you already knew, otherwise I wouldnt have asked him. We are doing a Wisdom Nei Kung week, in the forest, training also at night. It is about Tao training, the brains and martial arts, and many more things. Take care, Channa
